Antimatter is a game of chance. This page is about playing it with your eyes open.
Every round on Antimatter is decided by Chainlink VRF — verifiable, tamper-proof randomness. Nobody, including the platform, can predict or influence who wins. That also means winning is not a matter of skill, strategy, or timing: it is chance, full stop.
Only ever deposit an amount you are fully prepared to lose. Treat every ticket as spent the moment you join a round, regardless of the outcome.
Every league publishes the exact number of participants required for a round to fill before you join. Your odds of winning any single round you enter are exactly one in that number — no better, no worse, and unaffected by how many rounds you've played before or how 'due' a win might feel. Past rounds have no bearing on future ones.
A platform fee is deducted from each round's total collected tickets before the prize pool is set — it is disclosed for every league before you join, and it means the winner's prize is always somewhat less than the full amount collected from all participants. Understand the fee for a league before you decide it's worth entering.
Antimatter does not currently enforce deposit limits or cooldown periods at the smart-contract level — nothing on-chain will stop you from entering another round immediately after the last one. That makes it entirely your own responsibility to decide, in advance, how much you're willing to spend and to stick to it.
Practical limits that help: decide a session budget before you connect your wallet, take the same break after a loss that you would after a win, and treat any urge to 'win back' a loss as a signal to stop rather than continue.
Joining a round always requires a short-lived authorization signature issued by our backend before your transaction can reach the Smart Contract — nobody can join without one. That gives us a real, enforceable way to pause your access on request: if you ask us to suspend your wallet, we stop issuing that authorization for it, which makes joining a new round technically impossible for that address until you ask us to lift the suspension.
This is a request-based process today rather than a self-service toggle in the interface — reach out through whatever support channel is available to you on the Platform and tell us the wallet address to suspend. It only affects new rounds going forward; it has no effect on your ability to claim any prize or refund you're already owed, since claims never require a signature.
You must meet the minimum legal age for participating in games of chance in your own jurisdiction — this varies by location, so it's on you to know and meet that threshold before you connect a wallet. The Smart Contract itself cannot verify age or identity; if the Platform becomes aware that a wallet is controlled by someone under that age, it reserves the right to block that wallet from receiving new authorization signatures, the same mechanism described under Self-Exclusion above.
Once your deposit is confirmed on-chain, you cannot cancel your own entry or get it back early — there is no 'undo' button on a blockchain transaction. The only ways a ticket price returns to you are an automatic refund if the round never fills, or the unclaimed-prize refund path if a round resolves and the prize is never claimed. Outside of those two cases, joining a round is final.
